For quite some time, Kent School, under the leadership of a visionary headmaster, has experienced a remarkable upward trajectory. Our firm has had a long relationship with the School, helping inform and shape its strategy over time, as it has strengthened its competitive position among American boarding schools.
Art & Science Group has conducted three separate studies for Kent. The first focused on helping the School determine how to capitalize on its transition from a coordinate school with two campuses to a co-educational school on one unified campus. Several years later, we conducted a strategic positioning and recruitment marketing study exploring how Kent could further solidify its rising competitive position and attract more highly qualified students. Our most recent study, conducted from a strategic planning perspective, tested programmatic and other initiatives that might enable the School ― now from a considerably stronger competitive position ― to accelerate its rise in the top tier of boarding schools in the United States.
Our research and recommendations have helped guide the substantive academic, student life and marketing initiatives Kent School has put in place over the years and others it is putting in place now. Today, Kent competes far more effectively, is more prestigious and has a reputation for producing balanced, well-prepared and high-performing students. The School is well positioned to undertake bold initiatives that will further strengthen its competitive position among the nation’s leading boarding schools.
