Courtnee Jordan-Cox collaborates with Art & Science Group as an Affiliate Consultant, bringing extensive experience across higher education, nonprofit, public service, and K-12 sectors. Her work focuses on strategic planning, institutional assessment, and the development of systems that promote emotional, physical, and intellectual safety on college campuses. Drawing on her experience as a Title IX officer, care team member, conduct officer, and Threat Assessment Team co-chair, as well as an early career as a professional counselor, she brings a nuanced understanding of student needs and institutional dynamics to her work with colleges and universities.
During her time as a Managing Associate at Art & Science Group, Courtnee worked on strategic planning and positioning for a range of institutions including Butler University, Gettysburg College, Stonehill College, and St. Olaf College.
Courtnee is actively engaged in professional organizations such as NASPA (National Association for Student Personnel Administrators) and MACUHO (Mid-Atlantic College and University Housing Officers). She holds professional credentials as an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, and in Title IX Hearings (officer and advisor), Advanced Violence Risk Assessment, Title IX Bias and Cultural Competencies, Online Teaching Pedagogy and Standards, and Strategic Communication. Her specialized training also includes antisemitism awareness, mentoring, and child welfare advocacy. Passionate about her higher education leadership, Courtnee is dedicated to exploring the systemic factors that influence retention, recruitment and belonging of students, faculty, and staff.

Olubukola Akanbi

Olubukola collaborates with Art & Science as an affiliate consultant, contributing expertise in survey research design, data analysis, and both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Her work has included survey testing, data reviews, and compilation and interpretation of research findings that help institutions better understand the behaviors, experiences, and perspectives of their key constituencies.
During her time as a Research Associate at Art & Science Group, Olubukola supported a range of institutional research initiatives, applying her background in information and interaction design to complex research challenges. Her work emphasized thoughtful analysis and the development of insights that inform strategic institutional decision-making.
Before joining Art & Science Group, Olubukola worked as an information specialist at Montgomery College Library, Rockville, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Baltimore. During her time there, she worked as a design and usability researcher. Olubukola also worked in the role of adjunct instructor at the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Baltimore while pursuing her doctorate in Information and Interaction Design.

Neal Patterson

NEAL PATTERSON

Neal Patterson collaborates with Art & Science Group as an Affiliate Consultant, contributing expertise in quantitative research, data analysis, and institutional research presentation development. His work focuses on survey testing, competition analysis, data interpretation, and the development of research materials tailored to the specific needs of college and universities.
During his time as a Research Associate at Art & Science Group, Neal played an important role compiling and interpreting data for institutional research projects and presentations. He also maintained and curated the firm’s numerous databases, which catalog decades of analytical material. In additional, Neal contributed to Art & Science Group’s studentPOLL research, which examines the evolving opinions of college-bound high school students and the shifting climate that shapes those perspectives.
Neal first joined the firm in 2018 following a career in public relations, financial communications, and freelance writing. His background in research, writing, and analytical storytelling helped shape his approach to quantitative research analysis.
Prior to joining the firm, Neal spent over a decade writing about food and pop culture. He’s co-authored three books on Maryland cuisine and a collection of short stories.

From the founding of Art & Science Group, Georgann Eubanks has served as an Affiliate Consultant with the firm. On behalf of our clients Georgann has conducted hundreds of qualitative research interviews with administrators, faculty, students, donors, and distinguished opinion leaders. She has assisted in the research design, analysis, and interpretation of findings. The firm has also engaged her in the creation of final reports, positioning statements, and other strategy and fundraising documents. Past clients include: Chautauqua Institution, Concord Academy, Dillard University, Florida State University, California Association of Independent Schools, Harvard Divinity School, Mercersburg Academy, Missouri Botanical Garden, University of Michigan Law School, and University of Minnesota Law School.
Georgann is also an Emmy-winning documentary producer for public television and is the author of five books from the University of North Carolina Press on topics ranging from North Carolina’s literary and culinary history to the current plight of endangered plants across the southeastern United States.

Kevin Rask has a been an Affiliate Consultant with Art & Science Group for over a decade. On behalf of our clients he has conducted research relating to college admissions and financial aid optimization along with student retention. Past clients include: Colby College, Furman, Kettering, Dartmouth, Lake Forest, Providence, Swarthmore, University of Notre Dame Law School, University of Iowa, University of Michigan, University of North Carolina, University of Virginia, and University of Richmond.
Kevin has held faculty positions as an assistant, associate, and full professor (Colgate University), full professor (Wake Forest University), and college research professor at Colorado College. He has also been a visiting scholar at Universidade de Sao Paulo and Birkbeck College (London). He has held research grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. His teaching and research has focused on econometrics and the economics of higher education and he has published 20 articles in these areas.
