Josh Labove comes to Art & Science Group with an appreciation for the power and potential of educational institutions, a conviction forged as an independent school administrator, university lecturer, enrollment manager and researcher. In his role as managing associate, Josh partners with clients throughout the lifecycle of a project, developing creative strategies that combine internal missions with external market demands. His extensive experience in higher education and independent schools allows for unique insights into the objectives and concerns of our client institutions.

Prior to joining A&S, Josh served in a number of leadership positions in admissions and marketing/communications. He began his career at the University of Chicago where he directed the communications and marketing for the Office of College Admissions, including several CASE award-winning campaigns and the transition to the Common Application. Josh then joined the administration at Louisville Collegiate School in Kentucky where he led the college admissions advising program.

While completing his doctoral studies at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Josh served as the supervisor to a national team of student researchers for a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council project investigating the experience of Japanese Canadians during World War II. A teacher and researcher of legal geography and human rights, Josh has taught Geography, Politics, Government, and Writing at Simon Fraser University, Ryerson University and Dartmouth College.
