Hannah Poland has extensive experience in the university and non-profit education sectors as a teacher, communicator, and consultant. At Art & Science Group, she plays a central role in project management, development of research instruments, and strategic planning for colleges, universities, independent schools, and other non-profit organizations.

Before joining the firm, Hannah served as a research and policy analyst for TNCAN, a non-partisan education advocacy group part of the 50CAN initiative, where she played a key role in writing legislation around fiscal transparency, access to special education, and the common enrollment system. She has also provided curriculum support, and organizational consulting to Vanderbilt University’s Turner Center for Social Entrepreneurship and has brought insight and strategy to organizations seeking to alleviate poverty across the world: from women’s economic development in Kosovo, to sustainable tourism in Guatemala. During her work she was awarded the Cal Turner Fellowship for Moral Leadership.

Hannah was also the recipient of a Fulbright ETA fellowship in Bulgaria where she co-founded the BEST Foundation, a non-profit promoting English education, civic engagement and creative expression to thousands of students in Bulgaria through the power of speech and debate.
