Since joining the firm in 2015, Anthony Garove has shown great promise and value as he continuously expands his roles within the research department. While he contributes his experience in all aspects of the firm’s research projects, he plays an integral role in the areas of sampling, survey logic testing, data entry and analysis, development of research presentations and deliverables and research interpretation.
Anthony has worked on a variety of studies for higher education institutions and independent schools in the areas of strategic positioning and pricing, enrollment management and growth, competitive benchmarking, and branding. Recent client projects that have benefitted from his involvement include Case Western Reserve University, Dartmouth College, Earlham College and Furman University, among others.
Prior to joining the firm, Anthony gained hands-on research experience through several research assistantships with faculty members in the University of Baltimore’s Department of Psychology, while obtaining his undergraduate degree. Anthony’s experiences culminated in his senior year in which he conducted independent research that explored the role of humor and laughter in perceived intelligence and attraction. Anthony was afforded the opportunity to present his independent research, as well as faculty research he assisted with, at several national psychology conferences.
Anthony also tutored a number of courses as an undergraduate, including Research Methods and Statistics I & II, Logic, Professional Practices in Psychology and Psychology of Religion. Anthony also served as a teacher’s assistant for an upper-level statistics course, in which he guest lectured, assisted with daily classroom activities and led study groups prior to tests.
