CLIENT RELATIONS & COMMUNICATION MANAGER
Art & Science Group, a consulting firm specializing in higher education strategy and market research, seeks an intelligent, organized, and dynamic self-starter to manage the firm’s relationship management and communications efforts.
Under the guidance of the director of client relations and communication, the client relations and communication manager will work closely with the firm’s principals to manage day-to-day business development strategies and will create and implement tactics to support the firm’s communication and marketing efforts. Qualified candidates must flourish in a fast-paced environment and have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once, with great attention to detail and deadlines.

THE ROLE OF THE CLIENT RELATIONS & COMMUNICATION MANAGER
Work with the firm’s principals to manage the entire lifecycle of the sales process, including, screening and responding to initial inquiries, arranging follow-up meetings and communication and coordinating research design and proposal writing
Develop and implement communications strategies tailored to different constituencies with a goal of streamlining and customizing communication vehicles and processes
Edit and write project proposals and final reports to ensure accuracy and consistency, in coordination with managing associates and principals
Plan and facilitate thought leadership events and conferences with prospective and current clients
Oversee and advance CRM strategy using Salesforce Lightning
Manage the client relations and communications coordinator
DESIRED QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in communication, marketing, public relations or a related field
Solid decision-making skills and outstanding judgment, including discretion in the management of confidential information and comfort dealing with senior executives
Interest or experience in education/nonprofit sector
Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to prioritize, work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
Proficiency with CRM platform, preferably Salesforce, to track sales activities, develop dashboards and generate reports and databases in Excel
Knowledge and effective use of digital marketing tools including content management systems, email marketing, social media and Adobe Creative Suite
Must be able to distill and act on feedback from a variety of sources
Excellent writing and editing skills, including a background writing for the web and social media
