On the eve of a major capital campaign, the College retained our firm to conduct a comprehensive study focused on understanding what messages, initiatives, and plans would best motivate alumnae to make sizeable gifts to the College.

Our firm helped the College explore and develop stronger messages and other initiatives to increase alumni giving to the Annual Fund, in particular, from the youngest classes.

We have never questioned the wisdom of the direction we received from Art & Science Group. Our challenge grant was the trigger for the study, but there were other important issues we needed to understand to sharpen our messages and improve the consistency of our Annual Fund efforts.

Art & Science's work gave us focus and direction and changed the way we approach the Annual Fund - all for the better. Instead of talking about participation, we now emphasize being a consistent giver and have created brick borders to our sidewalks on campus inscribed with the names of donors with 10 or more years of consistent giving. Our whole language and approach to giving has changed due, in large part, to the work Art & Science performed.
